What is Olaplex?

Olaplex is NOT a color or hair lightener.

Olaplex is a single active ingredient invented by Dr. Eric Pressly PHD in materials, and Dr Craig Hawker, PHD in Chemistry.

Olaplex is free of silicone, sulfates, phthalates, DEA, aldehydes, and is never tested on animals. Olaplex reconnects broken disulfide sulfur bonds in the hair. Hair bonds are broken during thermal, mechanical and chemical services.

Once the broken bonds have been repaired by Olaplex, they are repaired. Those bonds will not break again unless compromised by additional thermal, mechanical or chemical services.

We add Olaplex to our chemical services such as Highlights, Color and Perms. The Olaplex works in the hair during the service to reduce new damage and repair old damage that has been done to the hair through these types of services.

Olaplex works as a 2 step service in the Salon with an optional take home product that will continue to repair and strengthen your hair. We add Olaplex #1 to the actual color/lightener we are using on your hair and then follow up with Olaplex #2 during the shampoo. We leave the Olaplex #2 on your hair anywhere from 2-10 minutes depending on the condition of your hair. You can then have the option of purchasing Olaplex #3 to take home with you to continue the healing until your next appointment!

Olaplex now also offers a Shampoo #4 and Conditioner #5 for extremely damaged hair that you can use at home.

The use of Olaplex will make your hair stronger, healthier and, in most cases will, make your color last longer.

The same active ingredient is in all 3 Olaplex products, just in different percentages with #1 being a highly concentrated form.

Olaplex can also be offered as a stand alone conditioning treatment that we may opt to do PRIOR to a chemical service to repair the hair.

Request Olaplex at your next color service. We'll be happy to add it for a small additional charge.

PLEASE BE AWARE!
Olaplex DOES NOT Sell any of it's products through Amazon, Wal-Mart or other consumer outlets.
Olaplex No. 1 and No. 2 are NOT for sale to the general public and you must have a professional cosmetology license to purchase these items.
Please do not purchase Olaplex through any source but your local professional hair salon. You are very likely purchasing a fake product through any other source.
